This is the shortest of the skip tooth blades. Use on very matted dogs coats. Cuts through mats that other length blades can not penetrate. The skin is more assessable to the cutting blade because of the flat design of this blade and teeth are more open which allows skin to be cut easier then 7F blade with its full teeth.
