Crafted of durable steel with polyester coated surface for weather resistance and easy sanitation.

Training your dog to use the stand-alone exercise wheel:
Do not exercise your dog on the wheel immediately after feeding. Allow 30 minutes between a meal and exercising.
Place your new wheel within the dog's normal space so they get accustomed to this new addition.
Set the optional brake or hand-turn the wheel slowly to get started.
Place a favorite toy or treat on the wheel to encourage entry.
Use treats to coax the dog onto the wheel.
Over time relax the brake tension to allow the wheel more and more motion.
As the dog gets use to the motion, slowly advance the wheel to cause walking.
Keep your training sessions to approximately 10 minutes, or as long as the dog is comfortable walking on the wheel.

Training your dog to use the house or kennel mounted exercise wheel:
Do not exercise your dog on the wheel immediately after feeding. Allow 30 minutes between a meal and exercising.
The wheel is part of the dog's normal space and the dog will become accustomed to it.
Set the optional brake so that the wheel does not turn.
Wheel entry is a normal process of living in the "house". Placing treats on the tread will encourage entry and use.
Over time, relax the brake tension to allow the wheel more and more motion.
The dog will increase walking and running as familiarity increases.
Keep your training sessions to approximately 10 minutes.

CAUTIONS:
1. Do not place hands or fingers into the rotating wheel from the rear or side.
2. If the do is accustomed to smooth hard surfaces, an option mat is available to make the run or walk more comfortable.
3. Wait until the dog is a year old or it's growth plates have closed, to commit to a hard training schedule. If unsure, consult your Veterinarian.
4. If the dog has hip dysplasia or other medical contrition that concerns walking or running, check with your Veterinarian before choosing the exercise wheel as a routine form of exercise.
5. Soap, water and disinfectant may be used on the wheel ,tread and mat surfaces to maintain sanitary conditions.
6. Keep all shields in place at all times. They are provided for your protection.
7. If wheel is house or kennel mounted, be sure wheel is supported to prevent ripping ofd the house or attached unit.
8. Do not pen the dog in the wheel for prolonged periods of time.
